DAU GO CAVE
Dau Go Cave is one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay, situated on Dau Go Island, approximately 6 kilometers from Bai Chay Port and only 300 meters from Thien Cung Cave. The cave boasts ancient and pristine beauty with many peculiar and strange-shaped stalactites and stalagmites.
Located at an altitude of 27 meters above sea level, the cave entrance is 12 meters wide and 17 meters high; the height of the vault is 25 meters. Inside the cave is a vast space divided into three chambers. The first chamber receives the most natural light, shining directly from the ceiling, featuring numerous stalactites of different sizes and colors.
Entering the next chamber, visitors will feel like they are inside an ancient castle, with majestic and grand architecture. As you go deeper into the cave, natural light diminishes, and everything becomes mystical. At the end of the rocky path, the cave widens with giant stone columns, sparkling in colorful electric lights.
Compared to many other caves in the bay, Dau Go Cave is more unique with its diverse flora and fauna. Due to the expanded cave entrance, high humidity inside the cave, and the influence of sunlight, it has created conditions for the development of a diverse vegetation system, such as moss, ferns, and woody plants.
